Use the command ‘openssl sclient’ to connect to a secure web server: port 443 on yourfavourite website (e.g., www.amazon.com). Use ‘openssl x509’ to geta text printout of the digital certificate associated with theserver. What are some of the significant items in the certificate?You may have to install OpenSSL if it is not already there on yoursystem.
