Health is something that is not evenly distributed among the indigenous Australians. Social exclusion is a key health determinant that has enabled indigenous Australians to survive over 50, 000years. Social exclusion refers to the dynamic and structural processes of inequality among groups in a society. Hence, social exclusion is the incapability of specific individuals and groups to participate fully in due to structural inequalities in access to economic, social, cultural and political resources (Australian Museum, 2015).
