The article relates to the concept of religion abuse in a relatively significant manner, as it involves a narration from an Islamic girl called Malala, who explains how the Islamic extremists, infamous as Taliban, had terrorized her community in Swat village in their quest for preventing schooling of girls. Although Taliban affiliates itself with Islam, the terrorist group terrorized people in the same religion, like Malala. The extremists not only denied girls from going to school, but also threatened or killed those who opposed. As Malala explains, her father, the founder of the concealed girls learning hub called Khushal School, had received numerous threats due to his stance in opposing the way Taliban operated. Her father’s fellow campaigner and a friend, Zahid Khan, had been killed. Finally, the threats escalated into something worse, as the Taliban invaded the Khushal School bus specifically looking for Malala and shot her and others as collateral. The intervention of the international community helped flew her and the other victims from Pakistan to Birmingham, England were she was treated and lived when she wrote the article.
