One of the major ethical issues arises when Ted expresses several misgivings about Alice’s program without considering her efforts and willingness to give the software to ACE at a discounted price.  It is clear from the case that Alice developed an unquestionable anti-virus program that was capable of protecting ACE’s computer from virus attacks.  By installing anti-virus software like the one developed by Alice forms an additional security layer that safeguards incoming and outgoing data that may be appropriate to the company.
