An appraisal basically refers to an analysis that is conducted on someone or something. In management basically, an appraisal is used to assess the effectiveness of an employee to an organization (Milliman et al, Pp. 40-46). In business, people use an appraisal in order to know whether the employees they have at the organization are really paying out what the company has invested in them. As a company, they offer their employees payment for their services, it is thus very important to know whether the services that they pay for are offered by the employee in a good quality (Dong Hyun & Kevin, Pp. 31-45).
