Sami blood tackles the assimilation of indigenous kids in Scandinavia. Both the readings and the videos have identified the pervasiveness of deprived self-reported health among the Sami demographics staying in Norway and other countries. It is clear from the videos and readings that ethnicity is associated with deprived self-reported among the Sami populations. These associations is described by factors which socio-economic status as well as ethnic discrimination. Sami respondents who have been interviewed during different research studies have reported substandard health conditions in comparison with most of the Norwegians demographic.
