The Bible creation story is recorded in the opening chapter of the Bible and it begins with the words, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and World”. The text describes the earth as being formless, dark, and empty and that the Essence of God was moving over the seawaters in the preparation of God. God then proceeded to voice into being the establishment of the world. He formed the realm of the world in seven days, and each day had a unique creation (Alexander 34). In the 1st day, God created light and ensured its separation from darkness. He named the light day and the dark night. In the 2nd day, he created expanse to single out the waters and described the above waters as the sky. On the 3rd day, he formed dry ground and called the ground land the gathered water seas. It is also of the essence to realize that on the 3rd day, God also created plants and other flora. In the 4th day, he created celestial bodies such as the stars, the moon, and the sun and they were to provide enough light to the earth and ensure that there was proper governance between day and night (Alexander 39).
