The Bible creation story is recorded in the opening chapter of the Bible and it begins with the words, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and World”. The text describes the earth as being formless, dark, and empty and that the Essence of God was moving over the seawaters in the preparation of God. God then proceeded to voice into being the establishment of the world. He formed the realm of the world in seven days, and each day had a unique creation (Alexander 34). In the 1st day, God created light and ensured its separation from darkness. He named the light day and the dark night. In the 2nd day, he created expanse to single out the waters and described the above waters as the sky.
