Business analysis is defined as the practice of enabling change in an enterprise by defining needs and recommending solutions that deliver values to stakeholders. Business analysis enables the business to articulate needs and rationale for change, design and describe solution that deliver values (Skracic, 2015. Thus, from this I can define a business analyst as any person in the organization that performs analysis on tasks irrespective of their organizational role or job title. This because i believe such a person is responsible for discovering underlying business needs, specifying models, and ensuring that requirements meets the essential quality standards.
