From the case study, there are major observations relating to organizational behavior theories. Firstly, Sema is experiencing the problem rooted in the context of different cultural backgrounds. Secondly, the organization has not implemented the policy concerning discrimination and stalking as well as the provision of a pleasant working atmosphere. When these policies have been applied the team of staff and the management would understand the need for acceptance notwithstanding different cultural backgrounds. Thirdly, there are people obligated to handle cases like that of Sema in the organization, but she feels uncomfortable in seeking their assistance. The reluctance escalates the challenge of creating organizational awareness for the team and their leaders to recognize the negative implications of inappropriate comments and thus, the need to implement appropriate measures. Indeed, Jack is not aware of the problem within. To him, a reward is enough to ascertain his appreciation. In fact, her response “big Dot” makes Jack believe the nickname is a good thing to play along with.
