Answer preview

Chapter ten of Larry Siegel’s book talks extensively about various crimes and their causes. There are crimes that range from murder, rape and homicides. For the most part of the book, the inherent cause of these crimes apparently varies and it is highly dependent on the environment where a person is born and raised. The environment seems to play such a vital role because if, for example, a child is raised in a violent family, in a violent neighborhood, this child is most likely to grow up as a criminal than one who is raised in a neighborhood and in a family that has no violence (Siegel, 7).
