Corporate social responsibility (CSR), describes the responsibility which an organization woes to the extended stakeholders beyond the internal stakeholders who are the employees and shareholders. This is an approach through which organizations seek to ensure that they have a positive impact upon the environment in which their operations are undertaken. The CSR activities which are undertaken seek to create balance between the impacts which the organization has on the external and internal stakeholders.
