The term armed conflicts refers to when armed parties strike each other. Legally, there are two different types of armed conflicts known by the international humanitarian law. The two types are the international conflicts and the non- international conflicts. International type of armed conflicts refer to the conflicts that involve States while the non-international one refers to the type of conflicts that involving two governmental or non-governmental forces or any other type of conflict that does not involve States.
