In this exercise, you will complete “Lab Exercise 9.06: Exploring Motherboard Features with CPU-Z,” beginning on page 175 of your lab manual. In this exercise, you will continue to use CPU-Z, which you used in Unit II. You will also install PC Wizard software. In MS PowerPoint, create a presentation that illustrates the information you obtained about your motherboard.

  1. The first slide should be a title slide with your name, date, and course information.
  2. On slide 2, provide the information gathered in Step 2, which begins on page 105 of your lab manual. Use illustrations such as screen shots to support your findings.
  3. For slide 3, provide a brief summary of what you find, such as motherboard, BIOS, chipset, and memory. Was there any other useful information? Use illustrations such as screen shots to support your findings.
  4. Be sure to apply an appropriate theme for your presentation, use bulleted lists to promote your main points, and use the notes section for discussions of those points.
