Literature has proposed different methods of sanitation for companies and governments. Much of studies done before presented varying levels of success. Examples include swap of random strings for data, prefix-preserving homomorphism and simple destruction of data [1]. The concept of data sanitization was initiated in Atallah et al. in [2] where database modification was considered to support a set of sensitive rules.
