In most organizations, communications can happen downwards, which is from management to employees. This is evidence that the design structure of an organization will determine the kind of communication that will take place. For effectiveness, organizations need to find a directional balance, because too much downward communication can cause employees to tune out messages. When it comes to external communication, there is a huge relation between this and organizational design.
