Answer preview

Famously known as indigenous Finno-Ugric inhabiting Arctic area called Sápmi, Sami people are enthusiastic and passionate about living their traditional life (BBC Earth, 2009). One of the common tradition that the Sami held in the past, and its strongly attached to modern Sami, is the aspect of relying on reindeer for everything, particularly or food, clothing, transport, and money. However, the ethnic assimilation pressure of leaving traditions that the Sami people have faced as they dwell in northern areas of Finland, Sweden, Kola Peninsula, and Norway has not only subjected them into a socio-economic inequities, but also led to their experience of some related health problems (Isaac, 2017 and Hansen, Melhus, Høgmo, & Lund, 2007).
