The managerial shortcomings that were witnessed at Rony’s could easily have been avoided or mitigated by embracing proven project management practices. The challenges that were experienced at Rony’s are typical of projects, and they reflect the attitudes of various stakeholders involved in project management. Even though the project concept was a noble idea, some aspects such as planning and design were rushed, and the opportunity failed to realize its full potential. In particular, Spencer Moneysworth failed in his administrative duties by failing to involve other stakeholders who were tasked with overseeing the production process.
