Leadership and power are like peas in a pod; inseparable. Power can be used judiciously and to obtain worthy goals, and there are those people in power who abuse it or avoid it altogether. Leaders who abuse their power lower employee morale and increase turnover and this can happen when leaders become bully bosses. This is a boss who uses his power to dominate his subordinates; it ranges from rude behavior, yelling, some use physical violence and sarcasm. These bosses hide under the guise of getting the job done and will bully and intimidate his juniors, and this is an obvious case of abuse of power.
