Psychological and intelligence tests are meant to be administered by professionals, normally referred to as psychometrists. These people understand how the environment surrounding intelligence testing should be. Online tests provide an easy method of intelligence testing, but it is unauthorized. The first ethical violation present in online intelligence tests is the privacy issue (Salehnia, 2002). Intelligence tests are meant to be private information, they are not meant to be divulged to any other individual for any purpose. The problems with online tests are that they do not guarantee the safety of the test results that they get in their custody.
