Answer preview

Over the years, labour laws have been revised to address the issues of pay disparities based on the two genders. Some companies have always perpetrated the concept of pay inequality by paying female employees less amount than their male counterparts even when they do the same job. As a result, the pay gap has always been evident in regards to average hourly pay between male and female employees. Misconceptions and stereotypes revolving around female inferiority complex have been instrumental to the pay discrimination since women are regarded as professionally inferior to their male counterparts (Antonczyk et al., 2010). Additionally, terms of employment for the two genders are crucially variable for the two genders since women are mostly considered for part-time employment in contrast to men who are mostly employed on full-time basis.
