In the contemporary world, technology appears to be an exponential curve and is impacting people’s lives in different ways. Currently, people are living in what is termed as information age that can be explained as an era in which most of the economic operations are information based. This is due to modern technological advancements that have drastically changed the way people live. As a result of technology development, the gaps in privacy legislations have grown exponentially hence it is crucial to come up with laws that will align with the ever changing technological world.
