Various forms of international business structures include the following: Product structures divisions are responsible for all global activity as they view the world as their market place from the outset and consider the domestic market as a pillar for its international business.  Therefore, these structures depend on the products to catapult them through the international market. Global area structures are virtually crucial in the process since geographic divisions are responsible for all the international activities. For example, Unilever Company has regional managers in its geographic divisions; hence; they are responsible for all the activities that concern their businesses in their areas of jurisdiction. The mixed or hybrid structure combines elements of two or more other structures. However, the system does not have an independent platform since it has to thrive on product and functional inputs. The matrix structure heavily uses the functional and divisional structures simultaneously; however, matrices have variations in the number of dimensions.
