Health Care System in Turmoil

Imagine a world where there was enough for everyone? Where the hungry would get food, the sick treatment, the homeless a shelter? Where everyone was equal? No war? Of course, someone who is rich and has all those things such a thought is the stuff of their nightmares but for the poor socialist that would be a great idea. The irony is how ridiculous it is when you consider that the majority of people under capitalism have no meaningful choices about the things that matter the most in their lives–what they do at work and how they do it, what they can buy, how they spend the bulk of their time. These decisions are made in the corporate boardrooms, in the Oval Office, in the judges’ chambers (WHO 2010).
