It is important to give the employees as much information as possible before they make up worst case scenarios about how the change may affect them. Also, it’s very crucial for managers to practice fairness and equity when changes are forthcoming in the department. If the modification is alleged to bring benefits to one group of the employees over another, there can be feelings of anger which may bring up disruption and unrest. It’s imperative that managers do their best to put off feelings of unfairness during change implementation.
