The author of declaration of independence Thomas Jefferson advanced the concept of truth is “self-evident”. The declaration states that, “We presume the Truths to be self-evident”. The statement means that God created every man and He endowed him with specific unalienable Right that includes Liberty, Life as well as the pursuit of Happiness (Woelfle & Delinois, 2014). In addition, the Americans consider the truths to be beyond debate and unquestionable since such truths are obvious without defense or elaboration.
