One time when a group meeting became highly emotional was when it became apparent that the people were not being judged on merit, but rather by their genders and races. It was evident that both diversity and inclusion were lacking. The members expressed because these issues were dragging the entire group behind because even meeting basic deadlines became a challenge. One of the social justice issues that we felt most passionate about is the issue of inclusion. This particularly applies to minority communities.
