L-Isoleucine in the Human Body

Human Life on Earth is carbon-based.

Whereas the most basic building block is carbon, the ‘key to life’ has been found to be protein.

Proteins are made up of amino acids strung together in different configurations.

Proteins within the mammalian body code for a large number of functions in addition to forming the building blocks and base for life.

It is for this reason that amino acids are essential to human life.
