La Brea Pits started its operations nearly 50,000 year ago after all the large dinosaurs disappeared ate the end of Cretaceous era. Notably, the only remaining dinosaur bones at the museum are those of their existing descendants and the birds. It is clear that museum is situated in the heart of Los Angeles metropolitan. In addition to this, the museum is one of the globe’s most known fossil localities (McNassor, 2011).
