The brain of an adult contains approximately 100 billion neurons –or brain cells. Each brain cell is made up of a cell body that holds axons and dendrites. The brain cells merge to form a complex network that allows for rapid and parallel relay of information (Manenti, Cappa, Rossini, & Miniussi, 2008). The brain is also described in terms of right and left hemispheres that are joined together Corpus callosum, a mass of fiber. In addition, the brain is also divided into four lobes namely; frontal lobe, parietal lobe, occipital lobe, and temporal lobe.
