Literature provides varied definitions of culture. According to Bik’s (2010) review of culture from different fields, there are multiple meanings of culture, and there is no consensus on the appropriate definition. However, the commonly mentioned meaning of culture is the “way of life” that defines particular groups of people, and is manifested through patterns of thinking, norms, feelings, beliefs and behaviour (Schein, 2010; Bik, 2010, p. 18). According to Schein (2010, p.16), culture is understood as the innate and typically unconscious aspect of community or groups, and this not visible or tangible to people outside the groups’ circles. Culture develops gradually, and it determines the social functions of people after it develops.
