The issue being addressed in the article relates to social science which is an important discipline in the world especially in the society. The article is important because it introduces problems in the society that affect people but do not seem serious and are mostly ignored. The article also shows the importance of social science to the society and encourages people to use it worldwide to address the problems that may be facing societies and the community. The problem being addressed in the article affects many places in the world and by suggesting a solution many people also get relief of the same problem. By encouraging people to meet and mix socially in the “third places” it encourages unity which is important to the world at large.
