    • Describe the ethical dilemma in which the professional is involved.
    • What actions did the professional take?
    • Were those actions within the profession’s code of ethics?
    • What actions could the professional have taken to remain within the profession’s code of ethics?
    • How does the profession respond to ethical misconduct among its membership?
    • Choose any two theories from Chapters 1-8 of your text. For each of the theories, explain how the theory would view the ethical dilemma and actions taken by the professional. Would the theory regard the professional’s actions as moral or immoral?

Particular jobs of psychologists differ as per their specialty. Notably, counseling psychologists work in hospitals, learning institutions, or individual practices. Notably, counseling psychologists usually lead a personal counseling session or a group. Therefore, their work normally entails talking to individuals and fostering positive personal growth and mental health (Pope & Vasquez, 2010). There are many ethical questions that look at a certain challenge or a situation in which the stringent solution is not obvious and asks psychologists to select which solution might be thought ethical or right.
