Different Microsoft Office versions have different procedures for getting to the event log viewer. For Microsoft Office 2010, the event viewer can be accessed by going to the control panel. Click to view in small icons in case you are using windows 7, then click the administration tools icon. Double click on the even view tab and Expand the windows log and click on applications. Once the application windows open expand the date and time, source, event ID, and task category tabs to view the information in full. Using the source tab, search office 2010 error that corresponds to the time of the crush. Click on it and a separate pop-up will emerge with a crash report.
