I have been using Microsoft 3000HD webcam with my laptop since it does not have an inbuilt camera. This is one of the best webcams available in the market because it comes with an inbuilt microphone, drivers and a webcam application that installs immediately you load the webcam into the USB drive. The webcam can take videos and pictures in high resolutions to the point that it can make computers with low processing capacity lag. I have used the webcam in video conferencing and social chats with friends on Skype. Its one-meter cord, inbuilt microphone make it easily maneuverable and capture the best photos and videos. I also have had the opportunity to use Samsung digital camcorder MiniDV with 16 megapixels and x900 zoom capacity.
