Read chapter 7 Business Process Models pages 131-144 of Business Analysis (Paul, Cadle and Yeates, 2014). Technique 84 (Use Case) and 88 (Class Diagram) from Business Analysis Techniques (Cadel, Paul and Turner, 2014). You may wish to peruse technique 87 on Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD), though we are using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) approach for notation.
• Business events are situations when system or business processes may be initiated.
How does the documentation of analysis, assist in the development of activity and
use case and domain class diagrams. Make sure you ponder the links between these
UML models in your discussion. Min 300 words, you may include images etc.
• We are conducting interviews, from this process you are to document your findings and ideas about the case study in your journal. This would include your reflections on the process and what are your initial concepts and draft ideas for an activity and use case and domain class diagrams. Do you see any possible gaps or initial issues in the organization? Who do you think are the stakeholders?
• Modelling:
Activity diagrams are a type of workflow that portrays the user activities and the flow. This may be just the interactions between humans or it may also include the user interaction with a system. Use Case diagrams show the actual actor and the system boundary and use cases (system process). Class Diagrams show the domain data that is
required to fulfill business processes such as a use case.

In this case, the process of conducting interviews was not satisfactory, as even though the top management had shown approval for the process, most of them were unavailable for the interview process. The general manager, broadcasting director, production director, and news director were all unavailable. Moreover the interviews with the sales and human resources managers were timely, and they revealed that both officials believed that the interviews were essentially and cost effective ways of determining how to realize organizational goals within the stipulated time period.
