Prodigies and skill-acquiring people
Instructions
What differentiates prodigies from people who develop skills normally. Are there different types of prodigies?
Answer preview
Upon birth, people have varying degrees of talents and giftedness. A prodigy, simply put, is an individual who possess at least two talents. The high level ability in a specified area makes them different from others whose skills develop naturally. A child prodigy, for instance, is an individual who completes tasks that a normal person would, but at an age that is unusually young. Psychologists have in recent studies pointed to the possibility of prodigies having a starting advantage that is passed genetically (Comeau, 2018).
