Personally, chronic stress affected my body in different ways. I was experiencing chronic stress because I did not receive the expected parental care after my parents perished in a road accident. As a result of chronic stress, I was experiencing a serious impact on my psychological and physical health because of sustained increased levels of the chemicals freed in the “fight to fight” response. In addition to this, chronic stress caused many changes in my life before I discovered different ways of managing the disorder. One of the changes is that I was facing serious memory problems. This clearly means that I could not memorize different things especially in a learning environment that involves different people. In addition to this, chronic stress was compelling me to make wrong decisions as well as poor judgment. As a result of chronic stress, I could not make sound and timely decisions hence my life was fully was not normal. In group discussions and other social gatherings, I could not present my views because people would just ignore my viewpoints by arguing that they were irrelevant.
