Having gone through the weekly assigned readings has equipped me with important insights which have shaped my view on leadership. Through the reading on Polis, I was able to learn important aspects of leadership which will shape my leadership skills. I learned that leadership entails persuading and motivating other people to act on their perceptions. I also learned that leadership goes hand in hand with politics. Contrary to what most of our politicians do, these readings made me realize that politicians are supposed to assume leadership roles in the society whereby they should motivate and persuade members of the public to act according to their perspectives.
