Data leakage is described as the incidences when sensitive information is revealed intentionally or unintentionally to unauthorized parties. The data leaked out can be private and confidential such as credit cards that can be sued by the attackers to exploit the system. With the increasing amount of information in companies, sometimes it becomes unmanageable that can cause information loss. Thus companies can have some form of strategies implemented so as to secure information.
