Answer preview

Poverty is a social issue that affects a particular group of people; as such, the best qualitative study to use in such a case is an ethnographic study. An ethnographic study is a method that relied on the up-close, possible participation and personal experience and not merely observing how a particular group lives. Ethnography methodology refers to the tapping of local viewpoints, community and households, as they are funds of knowledge, and it is a means of establishing important categories of human experience up close and at a personal level.  The method that I can use in choosing participants in this study is through a focus group.
