Servant leadership also requires a leader to listen to his people, supporting them and redirecting them when they deviate from their goals. This kind of leadership is where a leader is constantly trying to find out what the employees need for them to succeed. Servant leaders do not require his employees to please him, but rather he is genuinely interested in making a difference in their lives and hence impacting the organization in a positive way. For a manger to be a servant leader, the best way is to first get their egos out of the way.
