Restricting the operations to the beauty shops means that the introduction of new products will be limited to the same customers who purchase items from these outlets. The expansion of the products portfolio would require the expansion of the retailing and distribution channels also (Trott, 2008). Since the company relies on the beauty shops to sell the products it has within the market, remaining restricted to the same retailing channel would necessitate the opening up of new stores to sell the products. The introduction of a new products into the market becomes increasingly costly for the organization.
