The body of a human being has a way of responding to threats or responding to other kinds of demands that cause trauma. When a person is threatened or feels threatened some defenses kick in. These defenses are referred to as stress responses and they form the way the body protects a person. There are times stress is good as it enables the body to rise and face challenges but there are certain points when the stress ends up becoming unhelpful and in fact, ends up hindering normal sociological interactions.
