The aim of the database normalization process was to improve the data integrity and reduce cases of redundancy in the process. To be successful in normalization process and to deliver a denormalized database, the programmer must be well acquitted in the database structure along with data integrity. Furthermore, the programmer must check for redundancy in the data entries that way it will be easier to understand when the data will be entered redundantly or inefficiently. However, normalization of the database in not a necessity for the database to be subjected to use but in such a scenario one must be fully aware of where certain data it and the best way to retrieve it.
