One of the key causes of the America’s Revolt is the formation of colonies by people who ran away from religious-based prosecution back in England. As the British administration multiplied its engagement in colony affairs, the people became anxious about their freedom that motivated the American Revolution. In addition, the Indian and French war that involved New France and the American colonies led to increment of taxes to pay the troops that created hostility among the people. Laws and taxes imposed by British government angered the colonists, as they had no representation in the parliament (Wood, 2011).
