The ethical theory of Aristotle is based on virtue, where he recommended that living in a virtuous way in life has an immense relationship to happiness. Aristotle’s ethical theory pointed out that nature does not do anything in vain. This meant that it is only in the moment when an individual acts in line with their nature that they can manage to attain and achieve their full potential, where they will manage to do good and be content in life (Aristotle & Reeve 15).  He further held that the surest path to an individual’s happiness is through self-realization where an individual is aware of his or her own nature, as well as the development of one’s talents.
