The progressive benefits of the health care act, popularly known as the Obama Care Act has been far reaching .The new administration under the former president Donald Trump sought to repeal the Act and this has been deemed by scholars and pundits alike, as a retrogressive move. Its strenuous consequences include the loss of losing health coverage. These adverse effects on public health are pedestalled by the political ideologies of the government and this is chiefly manifest in the desire to reduce the role of government.
