Terrorists have commonly been regarded as radicals whose development is mainly as a result of radicalization ideologies. Assessment of how individuals develop to become terrorists has always resulted in a range of factors arising. While the concept remains difficult to define, the perspective of definition results in a wide range of causative factors, conditions and influences being identified (Mahan & Griset, 2008). In many instances, however, the failure to adopt peaceful problem-solving approaches to conflicts have been popularly associated with the engagement in terrorist activities as a means of reaching the desired end.
