According to Mendhurwar and Mishra (2018), IoT technologies seek to offset the limitations of prior innovation as they allow devices to work autonomously and have a higher level of intelligence. Developments in the IoT realm represent contemporary technology dynamics (Aldowah et al., 2017; Lindqvist and Neumann, 2017). For example, the advent of ubiquitous sensors represents the applicability of the new learning model in the world of the Internet (Aldowah et al., 2017).
